THERE were Royal greetings as Sheffield woman Edith Beresford celebrated her 100th birthday.
Cards from the Queen and Secretary of State for Work and Pensions Amber Rudd MP were among the special messages for Sheffield born Edith, who is a resident as Midhurst Residential Care Home in the Foxhill area of Sheffield.
Staff at Midhurst - part of the Sheffcare chain of residential care homes - were joined by family and friends to help Edith mark her landmark day with a special party and entertainment.
