Leading Yorkshire corporate recovery and business advisory specialists Wilson Field has been shortlisted in the national TRI Awards, the Oscars of the restructuring sector.

Wilson Field is up for the Insolvency Team of the Year and the Corporate Restructuring Firm of the Year – 10 or less licensed appointment-taking insolvency practitioners.

The firm will find out whether it’s successful in its category on Wednesday October 18 at a glittering ceremony at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel in London.

Wilson Field, which has a company headquarters in Sheffield and a network of nationwide offices including Leeds and the West Midlands, is now the largest independent Yorkshire-headquartered insolvency practice, boasting eight insolvency practitioners and over 90 staff.

Managing director Nick Wilson said: “We are thrilled to have been shortlisted for this award, which is recognition of all the hard work put in by everyone in the firm. Our strength is a team of people with a wide diversity of skills and experience which when combined enables us to deliver exceptional service.

“We are determined to be at the forefront of what is a changing insolvency and restructuring profession, bringing the very best outcomes for companies facing difficult financial challenges.

“To be selected as a finalist is testament to our growth and development over the last 16 years and highlights our position as one of the region’s leading companies with a nationwide portfolio.”

From a handful of employees achieving an annual turnover of £80k in 2001, Wilson Field has grown over 16 years to over 90 staff, sited in its own offices achieving almost £7m annual turnover.

Its professionalism, personable approach and delivery of a big player service at regional costs means it regularly beats off competition from some of the UK’s biggest industry players.
