AS part of Sheffield Environment Week, Emmanuel Church at Waterthorpe and St Andrew’s Church in Psalter Lane have organised a special awareness day at Crystal Peaks shopping centre.

The event, which runs from 10am to 3pm this Saturady, will include a selection of information stalls including the River Stewardship Company, local beekeepers, Utility Warehouse, Step Out Sheffield, Sheffield Climate Alliance, Breakthrough and Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trusts.

“Crystal Peaks is a champion of environmental issues, not only in its approach to on site waste management, energy efficiency and carbon footprint reduction but also in its work with wildlife groups and South Yorkshire’s environment experts,” said centre manager Lee Greenwood.

“We are delighted to be able to welcome this range of environmental expertise to Crystal Peaks as part of Sheffield Environment Week and hope that our visitors will find the day extremely informative.”
