This FREE boot camp is funded by the European Commission as part of the Weight Matters project. This programme will take place on the 2nd and 9th Saturday, however as places are limited please only register if you can commit to attending both sessions. Complementary lunch will be provided on both days.
Part 1: Use NLP for Weight Control and Make Healthy Food Choices Work for You
Saturday 2nd February, 09:30 - 16:00
Delivered by a skilled trainer and NLP Practitioner who practises Clinical Hypnotherapy, this programme will provide learners with a holistic and extensive training package and will look at how we can create sustainable, healthy-living goals.
We will also suggest ways that you can make nutritional and healthier lifestyle choices, including:
Looking into why restrictive diets often fail.
Helping you to come up with a healthy eating plan that fits with your lifestyle - there are many ways you can be healthy!
This session includes an optional taster yoga session delivered by Carolyn Usher, a qualified Iyengar Yoga teacher from the Sheffield Yoga Centre! Yoga has proven benefits in improving physical and mental well-being and supporting fitness and weight loss. Please wear something you can move in!
Part 2: Use Mindfulness & Self-Hypnosis for Weight Control and Improve Your Weight Literacy
Saturday 9th February, 09:30 - 15:00
In this session, a Clinical Hypnotherapist will help you explore the path of mindfulness, including how to eat mindfully and the benefits this can have on your approach to enjoying food and how you eat. This will include a taster hypnosis session to help you make healthier food choices.
We will then help to improve your knowledge and understanding of nutrition. We will provide you with tips on:
How to eat right on a budget.
How to build a healthy kitchen.
How to get the right foods onto your plate.
Facts and myths about nutrition.
